Byssus

We are a group of folk musicians currently residing in Santa Cruz and Southern Oregon.

Our music is dedicated to the interspecies entanglements which defy the logic of empire. We draw strength and inspiration from the land which teaches us about interdependence, cycles, and larger time.

Our songs emerge from the relentless grief and terror that results from disconnection to the living earth.

We sing to weave ourselves into deeper relationships.
