1. But I/we do hate!

Hate is fine! Its an emotion like any other and shouldn’t be repressed but in the context of our campaign, when we talk about hate we mean bigotry – hating a person or group based on their race, skin colour, gender, dis/ability, caste, sexuality etc.

2. What’s expected of us/me?

That you have no tolerance for bigots or fascists. Beyond that, nothing is expected of you. There are no terms, no conditions, no fees, no anything. All you’d be doing is joining a group of others who also have no tolerance for bigotry and fascism.

3. We’re not political

With all due respect, you are because everyone on the planet is affected by politics, every day. If you mean you don’t make music that has political content that’s absolutely fine. We’re not here to tell you what to make music about!

4. And what do you get out of it?

If you mean financially, then nothing. No money, no kickbacks, no nods, no winks, no free tickets, no free merch. Occasionally we might ask an artist if we could have a high quality version of a particular song so we can play it on our radio show but thats about it.

Every so often we put together compilation albums to support a particular cause or charity and we might ask artists if they’d like to contribute a track. Its totally voluntary and no one will judge if you don’t want to. 100% of any profit from these albums goes to the charities we name for the particular comp.

5. We’re not Satanists, we’re atheists and we think religion is stupid

Well, we’re atheists too. Modern atheistic Satanism is not devil worship. We don’t believe in gods or devils or ghosts or goblins. Its origins are based in Romantic Satanism which is in turn based on Milton’s Satan character from Paradise Lost and inspired people such as Byron, the Shelleys (Percy and Mary), Blake, Proudhon, Bakunin, Godwin, Wollstonecraft, Voltaire and many other Enlightenment era figures. Its an involved topic but if you have questions we’re happy to answer them but for information only – we have no inclination to try and ‘convert’ anyone.

6. So you’re like Anton LaVey/CoS or TST?

We are not.

7. I’m actually a Christian/Muslim/Wiccan/Hindu/etc

OK. We’re not judging anyone based on their beliefs. If you’re OK about being part of a campaign operated by Satanists, we’re happy and grateful you want to participate.
